About the Brewery
High Point Brewing Company, founded in 1996 in Butler, brews the Ramstein line of German-style lagers and wheat beers [2]. Founder Greg Zaccardi trained as a brewer in southern Germany and imports Bavarian malt, hops, and a private yeast strain to make styles such as hefeweizen, maibock, Oktoberfest, doppelbock, and eisbock [1][2]. Its beers have earned medals in competitions including TAP NY and the NY International Beer Competition, which named it 2023 Best Lager Brewery in New Jersey [1]. A dog-friendly taproom and gift shop at the Park Place brewery sells beer on tap and to go [3]. Leashed dogs are welcome in the taproom, but not in manufacturing areas or on furniture.
