About New Jersey Brews

How we verify listings

We check a brewery's own website first for hours, address, and amenities. When a brewery has no site or doesn't cover something, we look to local news and other trustworthy coverage next.

Written descriptions are only published when our confidence in the sourcing is high enough (at or above a 0.7 confidence floor), and every researched description links the sources it was built from. Pages that show researched hours or details display a visible “checked” date so you can tell how recent the information is.

Amenities (things like a beer garden, food trucks, or a dog-friendly taproom) are only listed when a brewery's own site or its coverage actually says so — we never guess or infer them.
