About the Brewery

Fort Nonsense Brewing Company is a family-run nanobrewery owned by brothers Andrew, Thomas, and James Aslanian, who got hooked on homebrewing through a beer kit bought for their chemist father [1]. First opened in Denville in January 2018, it moved in fall 2021 to a larger brewhouse at 220 Franklin Road in Randolph, Morris County, with a taproom, outdoor beer garden, and private events room [1][2]. The name nods to local history, and the lineup pairs classic ales and lagers with more experimental takes; the taproom encourages board games, bring-your-own food, and trivia nights [1][2]. Outside food and delivery are welcome. Children must stay with an adult, and board games are available. Dogs are allowed only in the beer garden, which is not heated or covered. Live music and private parties are offered. Dogs outdoors only; beer garden unheated and uncovered. [3]
