About the Brewery
Carton Brewing is an independent craft brewery founded by cousins Chris and Augie Carton in Atlantic Highlands, the shore town where they grew up [2]. They converted a turn-of-the-century red brick warehouse at 6 E. Washington Avenue into the brewery, installing a 15-barrel Newlands brewhouse [2]. The taproom and retail shop pour a broad, flavor-driven lineup that ranges from the flagship Boat Beer IPA and 077XX to pilsners, hazy double IPAs, a milk stout, and low-ABV session offerings [1]. The brewery accepts private-event inquiries through its event-request page. [3]
