About the Brewery
Brotherton Brewing Company is a neighborhood brewery set in a converted historic firehouse in Atco, originally founded in 2015 by five longtime friends, with the firehouse taproom first opening in 2020 [1]. Now under new ownership after a spring 2026 grand reopening, it runs a beer program led by brewer Kyle Lieving, pairing core beers such as its flagship IPA and fruited sours with rotating seasonal releases [2][1]. The family-friendly taproom has no kitchen but hosts food trucks, live music, trivia and cornhole nights, and offers a dog-friendly outdoor patio plus crowlers and cans to go [3][2]. Check the brewery's published opening hours before visiting. [3] Free parking is behind the building via Raritan Avenue. Outside food and delivery are welcome, and food trucks visit weekly. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian; leashed dogs are welcome on the outdoor patio. Dogs outdoors, weather permitting. Food trucks follow a schedule. [3] The brewery hosts live music and offers private-event bookings. [2]
